An Arnold Hoyer 12 String guitar.
The "90 years of Quality" mark places its age at between 1963 and 1965.
For an instrument that is over 50 years old she is a beauty.
There are a few marks and finish crackles as shown in the pictures that reflect this age and there is a rounded dent in the finish on the side of the body but the wood underneath is sound.
Speaking of sound the tone from this guitar is full bodied and stunning!
Quite unlike anything I have played before and you really get a feel of the quality German craftmanship.
The guitar has spruce top with mahogany back and sides - rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. The bridge pegs are made of natural bone and the tuners are brushed metal.
