Owen Peter Thomas aka OPT, is an independent guitar maker who has been fixing, tweaking, and customising instruments for almost two decades. OPT offers a series of guitars that prioritise the instrument's details, setup and feel.

Introducing the all-new ‘Pennod 1’. The initial model focuses on a classic design with a creative twist. Each guitar is hand-refined with a uniquely designed carved headstock and pickguard, using sourced necks and bodies. The body was built to custom spec and the necks are level and crowned to ensure perfect playability.

Carefully selected components have been meticulously fitted together to ensure that the guitar is ready to play straight out of the box and will be a reliable and stable instrument for years to come! The overall feel and aesthetic of the guitar have been made as natural as possible, with the all-around subtle wear giving it a broken-in quality.

This 'Pennod 1' features a Poplar body, Roasted Maple neck and fretboard, providing a clear and full-bodied sound. The handmade UK-made 'Toltec Pickups sound sublime; accessible through the 3-way pickup selector and volume & tone control offering a variety of sounds on tap.

The first released Pennod 1 / Serial number 005, is now available for sale and comes with a quality gig bag and accessory tin.

The guitar will be shipped using Parcelforce 48 within the UK, and delivery should take around 2-3 working days once the order has been collected and packed
