Bought New. Excellent Condition.

A true hidden gem. I love this flanger, the sound, the construction, the way it looks, the simple settings.

This is True Bypass, but designed at a time when True Bypass was not as common as it s today, so the switch is a little odd in that it works fine, but it mutes your signal if you hold it down for too long. This was the design for switches like this back in the day. I have checked and this is true to design.

Would work great in a switching system or as a studio tool. I love this pedal. I never took to the MXR version, it sucked my tone. This thing doesn't, and it's all analog too.

Maxon was the manufacturer of pedals for Ibanez for many years, until the license was ended, and Maxon was then able to start putting their own name on their pedals. That is why Maxon are such a respected Japanese brand for old skool pedal aficionados. Check out their analog delay AD-999 too, it's incredible. And yes, they designed the Tube Screamer as well, the most famous pedal in the world, back in 1979.

They appear to be quite hard to get these days, although I think they may be still in production, with the issues around supply chains, like a lot of gear, these are very hard to come by as new or in retailers.

As you can see on the label, I paid £169 for it about 13 years ago. I just googled it and £169 in 2010 is equivalent in purchasing power to about £277.24 today.
