Selling my trusty MUSICMAN SUB 5. This bass has been played a hell of a lot by me and has therefore been "roadworn" so to speak. The bass plays great and sounds great too so I've listed the condition as "good". Fretboard condition is very good for its age and a real solid neck. The neck is painted maple, on the back the paint is worn (pictures) and I've seen some people sand this down so it is smooth but I have just kept it as it is.
The bass comes with Amourdillo Hardcase (like new) and is currently fitted with Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats which pair very well with the sound of this bass! The action is set low enough to get some string buzz if you dig in, so sounds great with a lighter touch.
I also replaced the pickguard with this really good looking bespoke one and I think it really looks the part on this bass.
I think the Armourdillo case itself was around £80 and has been used once in the time I have had so it is in great condition.
Bass weighs 10lbs.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE
- There are a few dings and scuffs on the headstock and body that I have tried to distinguish in the photo's. The bass is nearly 20 years old and been played like all instruments should!
- There is a little knick out the fretboard on the edge of the G string side at the 2nd fret (pictures) although this does not affect playability!
- I replaced the D string tuning peg with a fender peg as I needed a quick fix whilst on the road. Since has been kept as is. This is chrome and bigger than the others (pictures)
- Some of the metal work is tarnished on the bass (pictures) some of it probably just wants a decent clean.
