According to the label inside this guitar was built on behalf of "Die Gitarre, Berlin-Charlottenburg" in the year 1937 in the workshops of "taller artistico La Guitarra , Madrid - Barcelona" according to the specifications of the world-famous spanish luthier Antonio de Torres. This particular guitar is named Model 17 and was sold in Berlin. It features spruce-top , brazilian-rosewood back and sides, mahagony neck and ebony fretboard as well as a zero-fret(!) and the quite small, Torres -typical soundhole .

The straight-grained old growth brazilian rosewood gives the guitar its unique open and crisp highs

as well as warmth on the low end and in the mids. Looking at its age, this instrument is in excellent condition and plays perfect. The guitar comes in a stylisch and well fitting faux-alligator-case.
