Edwards Flying Nighthawk

How's this for a guitar then? The Flying Nighthawk from Edwards is the budget version of the ESP Flying Nighthawk, a signature model for the band Vanishing Starlight. The band are high on visuals and have anime featuring the band members/characters. It's all very Japanese and extremely cool.

Anyway, on to the guitar itself which is a visual delight. Sporting wings, jewels and custom inlays. But it isn't all style and no substance; the guitar is extremely well put together and plays beautifully. I see it as a painting that you can pick up and play, before putting it back on your wall and admiring it from a distance. A truly remarkable instrument.

Our 'hawk is in great shape, it's been well cared for and hardly ever played. There's a couple of minor scuffs at the horns (pictured) but nothing unsightly. It still has the plastic protection on the pickup and plastics! Freshly set up with Daddario 10's and ready to go!
