The Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar® recreates the look and feel of the iconic, battle-worn 1965 Jaguar that defined Nirvanaâs earlyâ90s sound and the grunge era. Featuring an alder body and a bound fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, this tribute guitar combines classic Jaguar styling with high-performance modern appointments. The Stratocaster®-style headstock bears the vintage 1950s âspaghettiâ logo for authentic flair.

Tone comes from a powerful DiMarzio® DP103 PAF 36th Anniversary neck humbucker and DP100 Super Distortion bridge humbucker, controlled via a triple knurled âchrome-domeâ knob setup (volume, volume, tone) and a three-position toggle switch. A modified lower switch plate simplifies pickup selection, while a black chrome Adjusto-Matic⢠bridge and floating tremolo tailpiece with lock button provide tuning stability and expressive vibrato.

Available in right- and left-handed versions, the Kurt Cobain Jaguar also comes with a black textured vinyl hard-shell case and an exclusive Fender Kurt Cobain book, featuring photos, commentary by Charles Peterson, and an in-depth interview with Nirvana guitar tech Earnie Bailey.

BOUND ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD

VOLUME-VOLUME-TONE CONTROL CONFIGURATION

Rather than the traditional Jaguar two-knob configuration for the lead circuit (master volume and master tone), the Kurt Cobain Jaguar has three control knobs on the lower bouta volume control for each humbucking pickup and a single master tone control.

ENGRAVED NECK PLATE

This signature Jaguar model features a special neck plate engraved with a Fender "logo" originally doodled by Kurt Cobain himself in his journals.
