A new arrival of BM-900 from the Project Series of the 70s!
Greco started accepting orders for custom-made guitars from its dealers in 1972. In 1976, it started to manufacture models most ordered and inquired about in small lots under the name “Project Series,” a product line that reflects customers’ requests. These selected models were manufactured on a made-to-order basis.
The BM900 guitar we got our hands on is estimated to be from 1978. Its quality is extraordinary. This guitar is in extremely beautiful condition, making it hard to believe it has lived nearly 40 years.
(Accurate production year is hard to determine as part of the serial number has faded. See the photo for details.)
Some of the products from the Project Series originally came with a gold-plated “Faultless Case” (hard case) and a silicone cloth cover. It is extremely hard to find a guitar with both accessories in today’s used guitar market. These accessories and the condition of the guitar suggest they have been treated with great care.
It is in very clean condition ! The remaining fret height and truss rod adjustability are in great shape. The neck is in excellent condition.
The nut has been replaced and overall condition as an instrument is superb. (Weight: 4.1 kg/9.0 lbs)
This guitar also comes with the original whammy bar, which could have been easily lost, the user’s guide, which also describes how to install the whammy bar, Greco Handbook, and the original tags.
We can confidently say that it will be very hard to find one of this quality that comes with such an extensive collection of accessories.
