Peavey Millennium BXP Transparent Black Electric

Here for sale we have a Peavey Millennium BXP in Transparent Black finish. This electric bass guitar features a Basswood body with a quilt veneer, a Maple neck, a 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard, along with a pair of ‘J’ style single coil pickups, wired to independent volume pots and a master tone.

The satin finish ‘C’ neck plays well, offering a smooth and comfortable playing experience, along with the dual cutaways and rolled neck heel providing great access to the upper register. The frets have plenty of life in them and provide a rock solid playing surface.

The ‘J’ style single coil pickups sound thick and full, with a rich low end, punchy mids and articulate highs. The independent volume pots allow you to dial in the blend of pickups accurately, with the master tone pot offering intuitive control.

Aesthetic Condition

Headstock- The face of the headstock has light markings visible at various points. The rear and sides show light indents, most visibly near the edges, to the finish, which is noticeable at various points.

Neck- The neck offers a smooth playing surface and is in very good condition. There is a scratch marking visible to the rear of the neck behind the 12th fret which can be felt but does not greatly detract from playing the instrument.

Body- The front of the body shows various light markings such as near the controls from previous use. There are some light finish indents in the area where your arm would rest. The sides and rear of the guitar show scratch markings at various points, there is some lacquer cracking to the neck pocket either side which is not of future concern. The rear also has indent markings to the finish visible mainly in the central section of the guitar.

Further Notes-

The guitar has some aesthetic markings as noted in the report and is visible on the listing photos but these are not hugely significant, although noticeable. The frets offer good playability and clarity. They show minimal wear with some light marks that are surface level. The electrics are in full working order and the setup can be adjusted to preference.
