Neumann KM microphone (KM83) with black logo and black ring KK83 capsule, vintage KM84 & KM85 family

For sale this vintage Neumann KM microphone with KK83 omni capsule (mic body has serial #X984X, number partially obscured for privacy). It has only "KM" inscription on the body and it is fitted with a black logo shield / black ring KK83 capsule. Considering most 48v Neumann KM microphones have a purple shield this must be an early transitional model. I think the details mentioned above make this a rare obscure find. This is the real deal it sounds absolutely amazing producing that high end Neumann sound. Microphone comes fitted with old school German Tuchel connector so i include a XLR adapter cable. It works on normal 48v phantom power and it is plug and play. It has the same style amplifier as the Neumann KM84 but it is fitted with a KK83 capsule. In essence this is a Neumann KM83. Except for some minor signs of use this mic is in excellent condition.
