Line 6 carried out extensive component modelling and behavioural modelling research for the LT. Each amp that features on the processor has been analysed down to the circuitry itself, every one of these unique components have been captured, measured and matched to the real thing.  

On top of the supreme built in sounds and editing capabilities, the LT user will experience Line 6's innovative intelligent interface, a system designed to make interaction as easy as possible.  Line 6 have also strived to make users lives as easy as possible with capacitive touch foot switches designed for instantaneous editing. With one touch a foot switch you can instantly jump to any block and adjust a parameter or assign controllers quicker than ever. 

The LT is made for the pro touring musician. Adjusting effects on the fly is far from desirable for most modern guitarists but we have all been there. The Helix LT allows players to edit any amp or effect parameter with their foot so they are able to keep playing while they edit. This is all thanks to the clever Line 6 pedal edit mode that will adjust parameter values using the built in expression pedal.
