1992 Hamer USA Centaura in very Good Condition

This does the lot - anything from country and blues through rock to metal are all easily covered by this instrument.
Uncommon to find for sale, particularly in the UK.
This example is exactly like the one showcased in the 1992 Hamer Catalogue (picture 13 above).
Centre joined striking Ash body in rich Aztec Gold transparent finish, single piece rock maple neck, and the Pau Ferro Fingerboard and regular oriented headstock which were standard for 1992 Centauras (non reverse as was standard in previous years).
The body is is great condition, with a little bit of worming on the back and occasional tiny mark, but nothing that breaks through the finish.
The neck is almost spotless, there is one small indentation on the rear of the neck around the 4-5th fret - it isn't any issue when playing, and if desired, it could be removed. This is shown in photo number 12.
The guitar plays very well and has been entirely cleaned and polished.
The fingerboard cleaned, frets cleaned and polished and the set up with a medium/low action and has been strung with a new set of 9-46 Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky strings.
Downsized double cutaway Ash body, 24 fret 14" radius attractively figured Pau Ferro fingerboard with real mother of pearl mini offset dot inlays.
24 Dunlop 6100 frets with no observable wear.
Neck profile is medium C shaped. Very comfortable and fast to play. 25.5" scale length.
Hamer Stadium Logo on a regular headstock, and Hamer logo'd Schaller mini machineheads.
Pickups are Seymour Duncan TB4J Trembucker Spaced JB in the Bridge Position, and Seymour Duncan SSL-1 in the middle and neck position.
The pickups are controlled by a master volume and tone control, along with a 5 way blade selector.
This guitar also has the interesting and useful feature of the factory installed Copeland Preamp which is controlled by the 2 way mini toggle switch on the front of the guitar with a 9v battery (new one supplied and installed) inside the control cavity.
The Gain for the preamp can be preset with a trim pot accessible through the rear anodised aluminium control plate which is clearly labeled. A 2mm allen key is inserted and turned to make the adjustment.
The guitar has a muscular tone from the bridge pickup as would be expected from a JB. The raunch can be knocked back a bit with the guitar volume control.
The neck and middle pickups give you useful strat sounds. The preamp adds a useful amount of extra output in any pickup position.
Upside down Californian style jack socket, points your lead in the right direction to tuck through your strap neatly.
Hamer logo'd Black Chrome Schaller Floyd Rose including bar.
Dunlop Dual Design Strap locks - which can be used with a strap with or without strap locks.
The guitar weights 3.3KG (7.28lbs) and balances perfectly on a strap.
Anodised Black Aluminium control and trem cavity plates both present and correct.
A new brown Tweed, red fur lined Hard Shell Case is included.
