Hamer USA Chaparral 5 String Bass in Rare Iridescent Finish w Original Hardshell case! This is a very cool bass handmade in 1992 it is an exceptional quality professional instrument which cost close to $2000 back in 1992.

Bass has factory upgraded iridescent gloss finish , reverse painted headstock and bartolini pickups with active preamp. 

Neck through design this bass is in amazing shape for a bass of this age, has a few random small chips which are difficult to see. The finish is glossy throughout it is obviously well cared for over the years.

Beautiful rosewood fretboard, just cleaned and polished the frets and but on new set of strings, so shes ready to rock!

Black chrome hardware is clean and quality, Schaller roller bridge, and Hamer stamped. Rare Bartolini pickups w/preamp. These controls allow you to dial in tone with ease, and the tone is fantastic!

Overall cosmetic condition about 8.5, its a beauty! The action is low and the neck is straight very comfortable and balanced. Input jack on mid side of body plugs in from the top, very clever and profession design.

These basses in this condition are difficult to find, its hard to describe but this has been built with precision, carefully crafted with top shelf materials! I don't believe anyone could even make a bass like this today for less that 3K so for $750 you are getting a rocking 5 string bass with a low B that is solid and pure.
