Up for sale is this early 2000s Martin J-15 "Jumbo" acoustic guitar. While it looks more like blown up OM style guitar, it definitely sounds like a Jumbo. These guitars are pretty rare and were only made a couple years. The bass response and overall sound is quite impressive!
This J-15 features a satin finished all solid mahogany body, modified low oval mahogany neck with 1-11/16" nut width rosewood fingerboard and bridge (some specs says Morado, hard to tell), 25.4" scale length, and chrome Martin tuners.
This J-15 has been played hard, it still plays and sounds great but it does have a repaired crack on the top, and an added LR Baggs pickup. There are some areas where the satin finish has turned glossy from being rubbed by an arm. There are also a good amount of pick scratches and a few other dings on the edges, and 1 near the bridge. A strap button was added to the heel and for some reason they drilled all the way through to the bottom of the neck block. Otherwise the neck is straight and the frets have plenty of life left. No bridge lift or any other issues, the guitar is ready to play and needs nothing.
Includes hardshell case.
