PRS Custom 24 Artist Pack - Angry Larry

This stunning guitar will appeal to any player looking for a truly outstanding Custom 24. This American crafted PRS oozes with style and class and features some significant upgrades over a normal Standard 24. It is hard to get across how breathtakingly beautiful this version is as the photos just don't really do it the full justice it deserves. Until you get a chance to see it in the flesh you will just have to take our word for it that this instrument is a cut above the rest and just looks Gorgeous. From a players perspective we would say that it is also an especially enjoyable great sounding guitar. It comes loaded with some wonderful 59/09 pickups. As these were made as replicas of some of the original 59 humbuckers, you can imagine that this is one seriously tone packed solid body instrument. The 59/09 pickups are essentially over wound version of the very popular PRS 57/08 pickups that they have been using for years. This over wound specifications provides plenty more headroom for when you want to go into crunchier cleans or heavy metal distortion with the same clarity you would expect out of a PRS guitar. Other features include an astonishingly individual Artist Grade Quilted maple top with terrific Angry Larry finish. Connoisseurs of this range may already be aware that this top is not normally available as an option other than on private Stock models due to the very limited supply or the right caliber of Maple. Of course lets not forget the sumptuous upgraded flame Maple neck. Take a look at the photos and you will start to appreciate just how lovely the neck and top are on this particular version. We are currently blessed with some truly wonderful versions in stock right now but if we had to pick just one model it would without a doubt be this one. This guitar comes packed with so many upgraded features and Artist Pack spec and yet is not much more than a standard Custom 24.




Versatile Pickups

The 59/09 pickups were made as replicas of some of the original '59 humbucking pickups that have been sought after for many years thanks to their versatile nature that works great for a wide range of genres. In comparison these pickups are over wound versions of the 57/08 pickups that PRS have been using for a few years. This gives you more headroom for when you want to go into crunchier cleans or heavy metal distortion with the same clarity you would expect out of a PRS guitar.
