Tannoy SGM-15 1992 Black

Simply two of the most beautiful monitors I have ever heard.
The iron fist in the velvet glove.

For clarity, detail and sheer power capability, these move air in a way few can match. The depth and imaging is astounding.

You hear the smallest of background details, like reverbs punching in and out, nuances you never heard or felt before. Puts a smile on your face every time.

Of course they do not require high SPL to deliver. These are quite sensitive.
No matter what the program, these are versatile enough to cover music, creating and layering soundtracks, VO, games, sound design, tracking, mixing, etc. 

Ear fatigue is substantially reduced. Even at high volumes it is possible to have a conversation without shouting. Amazing.

Cosmetically the fronts are near perfect. The cabinets have some adhesive tape residue and minor scratches, but the cabinets are basic black. Front screens are in decent shape but only useful for protection. These are gorgeous speakers you don't hide.

Used a Bryston 4B to power in my multimedia/post studio running through a modified Soundcraft 2400 desk. 
The Genelec near fields above the bridge made a great complement to these big Tannoys.

They need a great new home. Saddens to see them unused, sitting in storage.

The brochure pix might be for a brother of these. I don't think these are SGM-15B but the specs and the attitude read right so I included.

Shipping is going to be interesting as these are incredibly heavy. I might be convinced to drop them off if you are nearby. Headed to LA at the end of the year if that helps.
