Devil Fish Roland TB-303

Extremely rare Devil Fish modified Roland TB 303 baseline synthesizer version 2.1 A. In very good condition with some scratches here and there, but mostly on the underside. You can see on the pictures that this 303 has been used but not abused. In particular the markings around the cutoff knob and all other knobs are still there, a sign of relatively light use.

No scratchy pots. Everything checks OK. Power supply is not a Roland original but provides enough current for this bass and acid monster.

Among the many modifications, the Devil Fish provides extended bass response and extended controls. It is very rarely offered for sale  anywhere and the last one that was sold on eBay went for $5,500. Get mine for less.

For a quick summary the Devil Fish has AUDIO IN, so you can run anything you want through the Filter, Overdrive and Filter FM. It is VERY versatile sounding. You can make drums and percussion sounds because the Decay goes lower than a 303. The resonance goes higher than a 303. You can use the filter with Overdrive at "0" (no VCA volume) to make the filter ring and create all kinds of weird chirps and Sci-Fi sound FX that nothing else can mimic.

The sound is fatter than anything I've ever heard, especially with the Devil Fish Overdrive circuit.

It has been used by artists like Hardfloor, Daft Punk and very few others. Not many people have ever been able to afford one, or now - find one.
