Alesis M-EQ 230

This one has sat in a rack in my studio unused for years as can be seen from photos - it’s in almost unmarked condition as can be seen from the photos. I could only find one very minor scratch (see photo).

I used to use this as a feedback killer for live gigs which it did a great job of. I couldn’t find the power supply so bought a brand new one - everything works great on the quick test I ran on it.

I’m doing a spring clean of my equipment and as I no longer do live gigs this one needs to go.

The Alesis M-EQ 230 is a dual-channel, 30-band 1/3-octave precision graphic equalizer designed for live sound reinforcement, monitor mixing, and studio applications.

• Channels: 2 independent channels with 30 bands of 1/3-octave ANSI/ISO standard center frequencies per channel. 
• Control Range: ±12 dB boost or cut per frequency band via center-detented faders, plus a master gain fader (±12 dB) per channel. 
• Frequency Response: 20 Hz to 20 kHz (+0 dB / -1.5 dB). 
• Dynamic Range: 107 dB A-weighted. 
• THD + Noise: Less than 0.005% @ 0 dB (20 Hz – 20 kHz). 
• Connections: 1/4" phone jacks and RCA jacks for left/right inputs and outputs. 
• Power Requirement: External transformer (9VAC, 1A). 
• Form Factor: 1U 19-inch rack-mountable chassis (measuring 489 x 110 x 44 mm; weight ~1.0 kg / 2.5 lbs). 
• Special Features: Relay-based power-up delay (approx. 2-second mute) to eliminate turn-on/turn-off transients and pops in sound systems, alongside individual channel bypass switches and LED indicators for clip, signal present, and EQ-in.
