Vintage British-made Calrec CC50 / CB20C small-diaphragm condenser microphone.

A classic professional microphone from Calrec's respected broadcast and studio recording range, featuring the full-range CC50 cardioid capsule and modular CB20C preamplifier body.

Known for its natural, detailed sound and extended frequency response, the CC50 is well suited to acoustic instruments, piano, strings, drum overheads and general studio recording.

These original British Calrec microphones are increasingly uncommon and represent an interesting period of professional broadcast microphone design.

Condition: Working vintage microphone in used cosmetic condition, with signs of age and use as pictured.

Occasionally exhibits some radio-frequency-type interference. The cause has not been established, and this is disclosed for transparency.

Requires 48V phantom power.

Microphone only – no case or clip included.

Also available: I have a second Calrec CC50 / CB20C and a Calrec CC51 / CB20C with case listed separately. Please see my other listings if you're interested in purchasing multiple microphones.
