The X2P is a compact 2x2 Dante interface featuring two high-quality Focusrite Red Evolution microphone preamps, alongside stereo analogue outputs and a dedicated headphone amplifier. It’s particularly useful for adding local recording and monitoring I/O to a Dante or RedNet system, whether positioned in a live room, control room or at a musician’s workstation.

The two mic preamps offer up to 68dB of digitally controlled gain, along with individually switchable 48V phantom power, high-pass filtering, polarity reverse and Focusrite’s Air mode. The combination inputs can also accept line and instrument-level sources.

One of the most useful features of the X2P is its local monitoring control, allowing a performer to balance their local inputs against the Dante network return for straightforward low-latency “more me” headphone monitoring.
