Description:
For sale is a professional, heavy-duty Tascam CD-RW402 dual CD player and studio recorder. This high-end unit comes from the professional studio and broadcast world, renowned for its indestructible Japanese build quality and superb audio fidelity (featuring high-end DA converters).

Technical Condition:
The unit has been thoroughly tested and is in 100% perfect working order. Finding a unit in this condition is rare nowadays, as the lasers on these models often degrade over time. On this specific unit, everything functions exactly as it should:

• Both drives read CDs (including CD-Rs) instantly and flawlessly.
• Both disc trays open and close smoothly.
• The burner (Drive 2) writes and duplicates bit-for-bit without any errors or skipping.
• Both displays are beautifully bright, sharp, and have no dead pixels.

Key Features:

• Dual Drive Design: Drive 1 is a dedicated high-quality player; Drive 2 functions as both a player and a recorder.
• 1-to-1 Duplication: Perform up to 4x high-speed bit-by-bit standalone copies directly from the front panel.
• Extensive I/O: Equipped with professional analog (RCA) and digital (S/PDIF coaxial & optical) inputs and outputs.
• Advanced Studio Tools: Features pitch control, a built-in sample rate converter, and sync-recording.
• Form Factor: Solid, rack-ready 19-inch steel chassis (3U height).

Shipping & Delivery:
Due to the delicate nature of optical lasers and the unit's weight, local pickup is strongly preferred. You are more than welcome to thoroughly test the unit upon collection. International shipping is available at the buyer's expense and risk. I will pack it with extreme care, using thick layers of bubble wrap and a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. If you have any questions, feel free to message us!
