Fender Champ 1973 – Recently Serviced – Incredible Recording Amp.
A truly special 1973 Fender Champ in perfect working order, recently serviced by Andy Horseman of Horseman Amps.
Quite simply, one of the best-sounding amps I’ve ever played. These little Champs are legendary for recording, delivering that beautiful, warm, rich Fender tone that sits perfectly in a mix. Pair it with a Strymon Flint and you’ve got an absolutely incredible sound.
The amp is fitted with a Jensen Mod replacement speaker, which sounds fantastic and really complements the character of the amp.
This is a US-spec model, so a power transformer is included in the sale for use with UK mains power.
I’ll be genuinely sad to see this one go. It’s a fantastic little amp and a real gem for anyone looking for that classic vintage Fender sound, particularly for home use, studio recording Or small gigs.
A brilliant vintage Fender Champ that sounds every bit as good as you’d hope.
