Celestion Silver Series V12-60

Great speaker from celestion. Totally under rated and not spoken about enough. I think that’s due to Celestion only selling these to amp / cab manufacturers. I don’t think the speakers were ever sold to the public.

Closest comparison I could give, would be a high power Greenback, but with a slightly tighter/ faster response.

Bought a pair of these, one has ended up in a Burman combo of mine, now this amp my all time ride or die.

I had then planned to make a cab with this spare speaker, paired with a vintage 30, as it’s the same power rating and similar sensitivity. But I sold my head before getting round to it.

Same speaker used in the famed Engl cabs, but don’t think that it’s just good for high gain metal sillyness. I really love the clean and edge of break up from this too!

Please buy this, combine it with a vintage 30 and tell me I’m an idiot for not doing that my self!

small amount of solder on the lugs, but great overall condition. would rather pickup, mainly because I don’t have an appropriate box at the minute. But feel free to message me and see if I can make postage work!
