Modern Classical 3/4 Double Bass All solid Violin Outline, with all European Tone-woods Throughout.
This modern double bass has been professionally set up, in-house, by our luthiers in our Thwaites workshops. With an ebony finger board, European maple (back and sides) and a spruce table, this Thwaites Performer series of instrument are currently set up for classical & "Solo" playing but can be a wonderful hybrid between the bowing player and the pizz jazz session.
This Bass has been set up with a bespoke bridge, to focus on the needs of the arco player, and set up with Evah Pirazzi strings, perfect for both styles of playing. Can be fitted with a working Realist Copperhead pick-up.
