Andreas Zeller 3/4 Double Bass 00s - Gloss

My Double Bass is a ¾ size Andreas Zeller, made from all solid tonewoods I believe, not laminates like the basic models. which was last set-up in the Bristol Violin Shop and equipped with Pirastro 'The Jazzer' strings. It has a Shadow ll twin transducer pickup installed on the bridge with just an output 1/4" jack socket which gave me an adequate but rather low level output to connect to an amplifier. It will come with a leather bow quiver attached to the tailpiece, a bow of moderate quality, the stand shown in the pictures (Gear 4 Music) and a quality bag (on which one of the handles has become detached).This instrument served me very well until arthritis meant I had to desist; it has a lovely even tone (although it will probably need playing in again), and despite a few minor knocks and scuffs is in very good order.(See Zeller D.Bass All Solid (Overall Length 71.5in) Ex Endpin 3/4 | Musical Supplies Direct for modern comparison.)
