This snare drum is made from a 12" tom.
Not much of a bearing edge on snare side. Think old school baseball bat bearing edge.
The throw off is a fully functional mini throw off, works great.there is no other side for the wire as it is 5 lug drum.. so, see pictures..its tied to the lug.
I've used this in a full 3 hour country gig..sounds great.
Perfect as a side snare.
