Product Details
This effect pedal features the next-generation Nutube vacuum tube and was developed to reproduce the unique response of a vacuum tube power amplifier.
Unlike typical overdrive pedals, it adds compression and harmonics through sag, uniquely influencing the feel of playing the amplifier itself.
It features four knobs on the front panel and three trimmers inside the cover on top of the enclosure.
It employs a circuit that actually operates the Nutube 6P1 in compression mode, allowing you to adjust the sag sensation produced by a vacuum tube power amplifier.
Equipped with INPUT, OUTPUT, and a DC9V terminal, it also supports 9V batteries. A key feature is its solderless assembly, a hallmark of the Nu series.
The sound doesn't actively add distortion, but rather enhances the input tone while adding power tube-like compression, harmonics, and dynamics.
Even when paired with a transistor amplifier or in a recording environment, it can achieve a response similar to that of a powerful vacuum tube amplifier.
Its natural compression effect makes it suitable for use with instruments other than guitar. Unlike typical drive pedals that simply increase distortion, this pedal offers a different approach, appealing to those who want to add a tube-like response to their amp or existing effects sounds.
It's also a unique model that we recommend for those who want to meticulously craft their playing feel, including picking responsiveness and compression.
Please consider this opportunity.
