The Aiwa AD-WX717 is a double compact cassette deck produced between 1991 and 1992, offering two decks with high-speed dubbing capability. Deck 1 features auto-reverse and quick-reverse playback, while both decks are equipped with Aiwa's AMTS (Anti-Modulation Tape Stabilizer) for improved tape contact and stability. It supports Type I, CrO2, and Metal tape formats, with Dolby B and Dolby C noise reduction delivering a signal-to-noise ratio of 73dB on Dolby C. Frequency response extends to 18kHz with Metal tape, and wow and flutter is rated at 0.065%. Additional conveniences include music sensor, blank skip, auto tape select, auto rewind play, and Full Logic Control - all housed in a full-width 430mm chassis designed for integration into a hi-fi rack system.
