In my testing on female vocals, this mic was extremely close in character to a Telefunken AK-47, with the included stock valve.
Also included in the sale are 3 x alternative valves I’ve tested with this specific microphone that all sound excellent and have really distinct characteristics, all sourced by Christian Whitmore @ Pro Audio Tubes in Phoenix, USA - 1 x RCA/Siemens 6922/E88CC, 1 x Siemens ECC88 and 1 x Philips PCC88 (all expertly checked for optimal tone and noise for use with high end microphones by Christian).
The microphone cable is a custom upgrade: Grimm TPR cable with Neutrik connectors.
Will be professionally packed with a very high level of protection, and shipping will be fully insured.
