An opportunity to purchase a classic student drum from Slingerland; with original case, snare drum stand and probably original 5A hickory sticks.

Not mint but with the included full accessories a very collectable set.

The ribbed aluminium is in good condition; the chrome of the hoops and lugs in amazing condition. The strainer works fine and the leather washer is healthy, it may indeed be an original too. The original label batter head is present but is barely playable. The snare head is a replacement and in ok condition.

Please refer to Rick Dior's excellent YouTube video on these incredible drums. The çrisp , dry response is typical aluminium and the dense saturated tone of the centre of the head is unique. It's not a belter and won't survive any trashing but for learning snare technique, it is rightfully held as a great snare drum.

The stand dipped rubber grips are in great condition. I've left snare straps to redo to taste; the snare wires are functional. There's some wear to the case hinges and some rust on the clasps.
