The Unity Audio Super Rock is a two-way near/mid-field active studio monitor built around a 220mm (8") SEAS custom aluminium woofer paired with a Mundorf Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter - a combination chosen for seamless inter-driver coherence across a frequency response of 35Hz-38kHz ±3dB. The cabinet is constructed from 18mm 9-ply Baltic Birch plywood with a 30mm Corian front baffle, and the sealed enclosure design contributes to the deep bass extension and high SPL capability that distinguishes the Super Rock from the Rock MKII. Amplification is handled by a pair of discrete A/B amplifiers by Esoteric Audio Research, totalling 100 watts, and connectivity is via balanced XLR. The Super Rock is suited to stereo, 2.1, and 5.1 monitoring configurations.
