Meinl Artisan Edition Flamenco Cajon 2018 - Canyon Burl

A really wonderful and dynamic cajon that always receives compliments whenever it’s played. Loud enough to keep up with an unamplified acoustic guitar and sounds great when properly miced up for live or recording.

In great condition overall with a few scratches that have been photographed as best I can. The front has a shine to it from playing but nothing that impacts the sound and playability.

Will come with a slightly tatty carry bag, but only really good for protection when stored as it is torn in a few places.

Collection preferred but can be shipped at a cost. Will be sent well packaged and fully insured and tracked.

Flamenco cajon from Artisan Edition – Seguiriya line that utilizes unparalleled materials and quality of craftsmanship, emphasizing once more Meinl’s worldwide leading position in cajon manufacturing. This cajon is hand made in Spain with uncompromising craftsmanship for the most discerning of players. It features an ergonomically curved and rounded front plate made of Canyon-Burl wood with concave contact and decorative wood inlay. It also features an 11-layer birch wood resonating body and 16 adjustable vertical strings. It has a very warm and harmonic overall sound character combined with a sensitive snare response even when played at low volumes. The mids and a fundamental low end are nicely present in their overall frequency spectrum. The Seguiriya line of cajons in particular has a massive and projecting bass tone due to the extra sound port ring.
