The Beyerdynamic MC834 is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for studio recording. It covers the full audible spectrum from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and offers a strong signal-to-noise ratio of approximately 69 dB, making it well suited to capturing vocals, acoustic instruments, and other detailed sound sources with clarity. Onboard switches include a two-position low-cut filter (80 Hz or 160 Hz) and switchable pads of -10 dB and -20 dB, allowing it to handle maximum SPL levels up to 150 dB - giving it genuine versatility across quiet and loud sources alike. It accepts 12V to 52V phantom power via a standard 3-pin XLR connection.
