My name is VOLKAN, and I am a conservatory-trained musician, guitar craftsman, and founder of this workshop.

More than 10 years ago, my journey began in the garage of my home with nothing more than a passion for music, a few hand tools, and a dream of building unique guitar bodies. What started as a hobby quickly became an obsession. Every evening after work, I spent countless hours studying wood, experimenting with designs, and learning the art of guitar construction.

As a musician, I have always believed that an instrument should be more than just a tool—it should inspire creativity and become an extension of the player. This philosophy continues to guide every piece I create today.

Over the years, I mastered woodworking, finishing, sanding, staining, and advanced grain-enhancement techniques. During the pandemic, I dedicated even more time to my craft, developing new designs and refining my finishing methods. I became particularly passionate about revealing the natural beauty hidden within each piece of wood, using specialized techniques inspired by traditional Japanese wood-finishing methods.

As demand for my work grew, I moved from my garage into my own workshop. Local musicians, collectors, and builders began ordering custom bodies, and the positive feedback I received confirmed that I was on the right path.

Today, guitar building is no longer just my hobby—it is my profession, my passion, and the livelihood of my family.

I am actively involved in the luthiery community, participating in educational talks, woodworking discussions, and training programs for aspiring builders. Sharing knowledge with the next generation of craftsmen is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Recently, I partnered with a talented electronics specialist to establish our own guitar brand. Our long-term vision is to build complete instruments from the ground up. For now, we focus on creating premium handcrafted guitar bodies that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, precision, and tone.

Every guitar body is handcrafted in Türkiye using carefully selected tonewoods and built with the same level of care and attention that I would dedicate to my own personal instrument.
