The Music Vault is an independent music store specialising in new and used electric, acoustic and bass guitars.
We launched our stall in 2016 inside Wellington’s indoor market and in June 2021 we opened our first shop in our current premises on Crown Street Wellington.
The Music Vault has become a hub for aspiring musicians and professionals alike. We pride ourselves on our friendly customer service and our knowledge of all things music.
​We perform a wide range of repairs at The Music Vault, from a simple restring to re -fretting, routing and custom wiring. We’re also stockists for a wide range of pickups, hardware and parts. All repairs are performed on site in our dedicated workshop!
We stock a wide range of new and used instruments, amplifiers and effects at The Music Vault. We also buy second hand gear and accept your old equipment as a part exchange towards any purchase.
