Hello... My name is Shane Loiselle and I've been buying, selling, and repairing vintage and not so vintage instruments and gear for many, many years now as well as working as a pro player as well as in pro audio here in Western, MA... I got my start with my best friend and mentor, Frank Lucchesi, proprietor of Lucchesi Vintage Instruments... Lucchesi Vintage Instruments was the "go to" shop and Frank was the "go to" luthier here in Western MA and beyond for a span of more than three decades for countless touring pro's, intermediate, and beginner musicians of all genres of music... and I had the privilege and honor of working and training with Frank until his untimely passing in September 2007... since then I have done my best to carry on Frank's tradition of instrument repair excellence and the passion for being what Frank referred to as a "Steward of Instruments" when I was co-owner of Luthier's Co-Op in Easthampton, MA until June 2011, then proprietor of Easthampton Instrument Repair & Sound and resident luthier/repair tech at Paper City Music in West Spfld, MA and now proprietor of West Side Stringed Instrument Repair... The instruments I sell are setup to play the best they will play, unless otherwise noted... I enjoy taking the time to bring an instrument back to it's full structural potential and playability...
