Packaging:
These are premium and very expensive guitars and most usually exceptionally rare and collectable. the last thing you want is a cracked neck or damage in transit.
All guitars are carefully packed in the following way, special requests, such as disassembly are also available if needed. Each guitar is cleaned down and string tension is slackened, but not completely taken off. The headstock is then carefully wrapped in small bubble wrap until it rests suspended in its case without placing pressure on the guitars neck. The Neck is then separately wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap and finally the body has a single sheet to line the guitar in its case. The entire case is then bubble wrapped at least 3 times with the final layer being brown paper. The result is a very strong package with the guitar almost completely suspended in bubble wrap with very little air able to reach the contents.
This combination and care has never had any problems in transit, but should the worst happen, each guitar can carry up to £1000 worth of insurance with Interparcel for damage.
