Paradis was founded in 1984 by Rolf Spuler (e-guitars), Matthias Grob (electronics), Jury Rothen (acoustic guitars) and Iris Dressler (wood art)
from the start, the main focus was on split string pickup and electronic. first the close-string piezo pickup was developed and patented - but only used for the Paradis Guitars.
1985 the PolySubbass was created by Matthias to add smooth low octave to each string
1988 the unique Avalon design was created by Rolf to make the Paradis sound visible
1992 the first Livelooping tool LOOP delay (which soon turned into the Gibson Echoplex DP) was develooped by Matthias
2014 Rolf Spuler died and Matthias developed the Polybass to be installed into any guitar
