Shipping Policy

SHIPPING IN CORONA TIMES
Even after years of covid the postal services still have many shipping services suspended to many countries and extra fees are raised on some services. As I can only set one rate per country in the listing please read on for more information.

EXPRESS SHIPPING (EMS OR UPS)
Most of my listings show shipping rates for shipping per either EMS or UPS, these are relatively quick and reliable services. Due to corona shipping per EMS is suspended to many countries, hence I added UPS rates for those countries, which are a bit higher than those of EMS in most cases. Shipments generally arrive within a week anywhere, but sometimes there are delays due to corona here and there. For the higher end items I always ship per UPS.

BUDGET SHIPPING
For cheaper and smaller items I have set shipping per either standard air mail (small packages up to two kilo only) or boat mail. The standard air mail option is only available to a very limited amount of countries, to France, Ireland, India, Indonesia, Japan, Norway, Peru, Poland, South Africa, Sweden and Taiwan shipments are per boat, to other continents than Asia this takes quite a while, up to 4 or even 5 months so keep this in mind when you order. Get in touch if you want to upgrade to faster shipping options! Other countries with rates up to about 23 EUR are per budget air mail and to countries where neither are available the express rates are set.

COMBINING
For smaller items a combined shipping fee is set in the listing, in case you are interested to buy multiple bigger items get in touch so I can give you a quote for shipping everything together.

TRACKING
Of course you should be able to track the parcel at the websites of the respective postal agencies, but I use 17track.net which gives plenty of details on pretty much any tracking number. I also do keep an eye out on how it is going with your package.

PACKING & WRAPPING
I will pack everything like a pro, adding enough (mostly recycled) bubble-wrap, plastic, newspapers, double boxes or whatever it takes to help it withstand the most careless mail handlers. In case the item comes with its original box, I of course would never use it as the shipping box (the horror!).

ADDITIONAL EXPENSES/TAXES
The items are being shipped from South Korea. Keep in mind that your country could charge import taxes and VAT to you, these are usually handled through the postal agency that handles the delivery who generally charge an administration fee on top of it. Whether these taxes are charged and how high they are differs per country, so if you are not familiar with buying items from abroad, please look into the regulations of your country as it is your responsibility to handle these eventual taxes. With changes in EU-regulations VAT on items up to 150 EUR will be charged for EU-citizens via Reverb so that the package can reach you without further processing (and accompanying fees) by customs and the postal service.
