I am the creator and maker of the Harmonicanoe, the first harmonica muffler, that can also become an unmuffled performance accessory. It was developed from the desire to practice and play with a volume option. They are 100% hand-crafted, and come in 3 general thicknesses: Light, Medium, and Heavy. There are also Special Editions that are absolute one-offs using additional materials and ideas. They are all intended to be used functionally, but have an artistic appeal to them you may choose to display. Which would be rad. They feel good in your hand and let you hold your harp in a more relaxed grip.
The fabrics are Not treated against stains by me.

Light, when there is a harp inside, feel like holding a hand in a nice glove. The Medium, which are typically VegTan leather with an attached nameplate, are a bit thicker and firmer. The Heavy are very thick and provide a very solid, tight grip on your harp, especially while new. Need a bit of shaping from you, like a baseball glove.

The sides have a natural opening that allows for airflow. The black terry muffler rests down away from the mouth contact surface of your harmonica.

The Harmonicanoe cuts volume without dynamics or flow suffering, allowing for more flexibility in where and how you play. The Harmonicanoe is a great no-tech option when things just need a little edge taken off.
