I have been collecting musical instruments for my entire life. I have played and studied music from all of the world and now I am selling parts of my collection of ethnic as well as western musical instruments. I was a professional musician for many years and have a degree in ethnomusicology (which explains why I'm selling off my collection!) More listings will follow, but I will be parting with a wide variety of wind and string instruments from around the world. Items that will be coming up for sale include, but are not limited to: wind instruments such as arghul, zurna, shehnai, pennywhistle, mijwiz, quena, h'ne, bombard, Arabic neys, zumare, various handmade bamboo flutes, didgeridoo; percussion instruments such as kalimbas (thumb pianos); and ethnic string instruments such as quatros, charango, bouzouki, some rare Sumatran lutes and sitar.
