I am Kotaro Asahina, a professional pianist and recording engineer based in Tokyo, Japan.
For me, a tape recorder like the Revox is not just an industrial machine—it is a musical instrument that captures time and emotion.

My Philosophy: "The Musician's Ear"
Unlike standard technicians who rely solely on oscilloscopes, I perform the final tuning of every unit using my own ears and piano recordings.
My restoration skills were inherited from two masters:

Akihiko Goshima: The successor to the legendary Japanese "Kaneda-style DC recording" technology.

Master Klaus: A European Revox master who taught me the soul of these machines.

I combine this "European Heritage" with "Japanese Precision Craftsmanship" to deliver the ultimate analog sound to your studio or living room.

World Ready: Most Revox units are multi-voltage. I will set the voltage (100V, 120V, 220V, 240V) to match your country before shipping.

Plug Type: I will include a high-quality power plug adapter for your region as a gift.

I stand behind my work. If the unit arrives DOA (Dead on Arrival), I offer a full refund or return. Please buy with confidence.
