Killer City Guitars got its start in late 2016 exclusively on Amazon. The secret to our success lies within our industry ties and brutally high demand for quality. The reason we specialize in bass strings is very simple: I, the owner, play bass. I looked back on all the times I needed new strings but could not quite afford the quality I demand. The strings we carry are not carelessly ordered from whatever factory sells them the cheapest. Killer City Guitars has solid business relationships with companies that only make the best and I employ demanding product testers across the country. Any new product, especially from a new manufacturer, undergoes weeks or even months of testing. As a consequence, I write off 99 out of 100 manufactures as not worth my time. I am writing this as of 10/30/2018. For over a year we have been working to bring electric guitar strings to market. That is over a year of brutal testing and discarding. Finally, we will soon be carrying electric guitars strings. That is an example of our strict quality testing and assurance. 2019 is going to be a year of new and great things including our own line of both home grown, and heavily modified overseas bass guitars. We have some tricks up our sleeves including the in house development of neodymium\Alnico hybrid pickups.
