Sarge Guitars – Custom & Boutique Builds

I build guitars because I care about tone, feel, and getting it right; not because I’m chasing volume.

This isn’t my full-time business, and that’s by design. It allows me to be selective, take my time, and focus on building instruments the right way without cutting corners or rushing to move product.

Each guitar is thoughtfully assembled using premium, often aged tonewoods sourced from high-quality suppliers, paired with carefully selected traditional pickups to bring out the natural voice of the wood. I spend the time on setup, playability, and overall balance so the guitar feels dialed in from the first note.

I don’t mass produce, and I don’t build in batches. Every piece gets individual attention.

04/29/26 Update: I'm currently building 3 custom Telecaster and Stratocaster-style guitars. Tele builds include 35 year aged pine one-piece, 2-piece, and flamed maple top over a one-piece cottonwood body. Strats include a 35-year-old pine two-piece, spalted maple top over a one-piece cottonwood body, and an aged acacia koa hardtail strat, one-piece body. All will be killer! Reach out if interested.
