with an expansive discography spanning jazz, classical, electronic, and experimental music, greyfade studio specializes in creative music in all stages of its production. our approach is based on the idea that musical content and recorded sound should not be separated, but instead treated as one and the same object, in order to achieve their fullest impact. this means a recording environment highly sensitive to the musical intent of the artist, and a clientele interested in harnessing the full power of the studio for expressive purposes.
after working in and out of studios around new york for over a decade, branciforte built greyfade studio as a home base for a wide range of production activities, functioning equally well in recording, post-production, and mastering contexts. the studio embraces the best of vintage & modern analog designs, experimental sound design tools, and the cutting edge of software for audio editing and processing.
our clients include grammy, pulitzer prize, and mcarthur genius award winning artists, record labels and music organizations from around the world, and some of the brightest young talents working in creative music today.
