Originally named iCON Digital Limited, the company was founded in 1997 by a group of music technology veterans from the U.S., Hong Kong and Germany. Their mission was to create a company that would manufacture quality gear at a cost that was economical for all musicians. iCON Pro Audio owns and operates development, manufacturing and administrative facilities in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China while the US location in Nashville, Tennessee manages international marketing, customer support and development teams.
