Harry's Guitar Shop opened in 1985 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since then, we have consistently provided top notch gear, service, and instruction to all types of musicians, from professionals to first-time buyers.
In addition to our extensive selection of instruments, we keep a wide variety of strings, straps, tubes, pickups and other accessories on hand.
We offer a variety of instructional books including popular artists songbooks and guides for the entire range of instruments we sell.
We are also a full service guitar shop. We keep a full inventory of guitar parts in stock, and our resident guitar-tech provides expert repair and service, ensuring structural integrity and proper playability for your instrument.

Return Policy:
We have a 7-day return policy and we're happy to take anything back provided it is shipped back to us within that window. Please reach out to us within the period to let us know that you are returning the item. Please repack it properly and insure for the original value. When we receive the item back in stock, we will issue a refund less shipping and processing fees within 24 hours. This applies to all items, including those with free shipping included.
We always check items before they leave, even pedals, to be sure that they work properly before we ship. Its certainly not unheard of, however, to receive an item that, for whatever reason, does not work properly when you receive it. If that's the case, we will do a full refund including shipping. If the item comes back and is deemed to be working properly, though, please understand that we will refund the item cost only, less any shipping and processing fees. This applies to all items, including those with free shipping included.
Winter Guitar Shipments:
During the winter, guitars can be very picky about temperature changes. If you purchase a guitar from our website that has either come from or has arrived in a cold climate, please allow at least 6 hours for the instrument to acclimate to the climate where you plan to open the box. We know that can be frustrating, but if the case is opened to soon, the finish can crack all over the body. Please be aware of this, as this is not considered a "covered" reason for return.
