Harrower Guitar

Many years ago, my journey w/ wood began. In the mid 1970's I started working w/ a very talented woodworker, Richard Shaw. We built furniture, seven sided skylights, small wood sculpture etc. Ultimately i became a fabricator, millwright and tool and jig designer. I was pulled into the custom door and window trade, learning the proper ways to use and build w/ wood. When fabricating these products, there are many smaller pieces of wood that will never be used and discarded. To me, this was a travisty. Many of these woods were hundreds of years old. They were beautiful in color, grain pattern and tone. The key word being, "TONE". I started collecting these remnants for whatever reason. Along the way I decided to design and build my first guitar. "The Composer". A double neck, 4 string bass on top and six string guitar below. Now, finally, I know what to do w/ these incredible woods. The fun part, combining all these unique woods. The "Harrower Guitar" was born. Single neck instruments came next. They are lightweight, compact, complete guitars and most of all easy and fun to play.
