More than 1,200,000 US Military Veterans suffer from the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In fact, more soldiers have committed suicide since the Vietnam War than have died in actual battle. Fortunately, many are finding hope in an unlikely place: behind the wood and strings of an acoustic guitar. The healing power of music helps soldiers cope.
Every $1000 in purchases at this store goes to support a veteran joining our program.
We also accept donated instruments including playable working guitars, basses, amps, effects pedals, quality drums and cymbals.
You may be wondering why we are selling guitars on Reverb instead of giving them to veterans? The answer is that the money raised from this collection of just a few guitars, will help us to purchase several dozen brand new acoustic guitars for our Veterans. We want to reach as many Vets as we can. Help us do this by purchasing from our Reverb shop today!
Guitars for Vets is a non-profit organization that was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2007. We currently have over 130 chapters with more than 800 volunteers nationwide. Since our inception, Guitars for Vets has fulfilled over 70,000 lessons and distributed over 7,000 guitars, free to military veterans.
Payment is always required at the time of purchase or the sale may be voided.
We DO NOT ship to PO boxes, alternate addresses, no international, no Alaska, no Hawaii. No proxy sales. EVER. Please ask questions BEFORE purchasing.
I usually ship out on Mondays and Thursdays.

Typically all Guitars For Vets products are mailed in quality Uline boxes and bubble wrap.
If I can't get the package out swiftly, I will be in contact to let you know the status.
