Guitar tools unlike all other tools have not changed in 200 or more years. To this day they are 18th and 19th century "know how" that demands years of practice to develop suitable skills. It is because of these archaic tools that the rest of us are stuck paying shops for fret work and such, and often times the results are not so good. And those that make and sell 31 flavors of fret files, sanding beams and so on... they, like the shops whose income is 70% derived from fret work, 70% of guitar tools sold are fret work tools, they will not change because doing so will radically cut their profits.
SixStringers sees things differently. We live in the 21st century, and it is long past time for guitar tools to be made with modern technology to make using them accessible to anyone, not just professionals, and to be able to easily achieve far better results than any shop can achieve using their archaic tools and methods.
Every other tool has evolved many times over the years and continue to evolve, there is nothing stopping the same for guitar tools other than the holdfasts who fight tooth and nail to hold onto the past and the profits they get from that.
